Your CSA basket this week will have:

Lettuce

Chard

Kale

Beet greens

Potatoes

Greenhouse Zucchini

Baby White Turnips

Fresh Garlic

Omnivores can choose from:

Eggs and Bacon

2lbs hamburger

1 1/4 lb Porterhouse Steak

Pint of Maple Syrup.

The cows have been working hard.

The herd of milkers are rank 43rd in the US for genetics.

Received Outstanding milk quality award from Dairy One, out of a pool of 4500 herds.

A couple of cows and heifers are on the top 1.5 list for genetics.

We have a heifer nominated and headed to Texas for the National Heifer Sale (about 45 heifers are in this sale)

Spring CSA seasons starts May 1

The localvore and omnivore CSA shares starts on Wednesday May 1 and run through the end of December. Summer CSA shares start in June.

Dear CSA members and farm friends,

We will hosting monthly farm potluck dinners for all CSA members and farm friends. They will be on the first Wednesday of each month at our farm stand, at 6 PM-May 1, June 5, July 3, August 7, September 4. Bring a dish to share. We will have paper plates and plastic forks or you can bring your own dishes. We have picnic tables but you might want to bring a blanket to sit on the lawn.
